Ambassadors of Christ choir started in 1995, after genocide, during the genocide more than one million of people died so after genocide they are so many people growing out the country coming back to the country and trying to build it in many domain socio economics, among these coming back, they can see these who were refugees in Uganda for more than 30 years. An idea of ambassador’s choir brought by these coming from Uganda that why in the beginning people used to call the choir of abaganda.
The choir began in Kigali at Remera SDA church where about ten people formed the chorale but now ambassadors are more than 50 active choir members and ambassadors remains as a family choir. The main objective for the Ministry is doing gospel music, peace and reconciliation of Rwandans after genocide.
